My work of vessels and webs is included in this exhibit of nine fiber artists.
On this life journey we each experience common human development cycles. I explored each of the 7 year cycles by creating a vessel reflecting aspects that belong to each cycle. The vessels are all knit and crocheted using primarily yarns from Japan. This project began after my completion of 3 year study of Biography and Social Art. www.biographysocialart.com
Viewers are invited to take part by adding a word or sentence of how they experienced the different phases and placing it in the appropriate vessel. Perhaps when the words and sentences are all collected, they will form a poem.
